Dear colleagues,

Following up the email from Andrea, we wanted to emphasise that we expect all staff to prioritise attendance to this workshop with respect to other commitments.

A strong participation from the faculty also conveys a strong and positive message to the rest of the department that we take these topics very seriously. So please register at your earliest convenience.

Please also note that we monitor attendance and participation to department-wide courses and training events (such as the training on Annual Conversations that we will hold at the retreat) since this "official registration" then trumps the need of attending other courses on similar topics offered by the VU and often requested by the FB for promotions. The Annual Conversations training at the retreat is the perfect example of this: the FB expects all staff to follow up, so by offering to all staff as part of the retreat we comply with this expectation and also we learn from each others experiences and best practices. Hence the same holds for the DEI Workshop.

Concerning the registration: please note that you have to log in to google forms using your VU account, else you will get an error Cessage. In the message sent yesterday, there was an issue with the link to the website which should now be resolved.
Please find also the programme and registration form here:

Thanks a lot, best,

Juan
