[Opleidingsdirecteuren.beta] Facultaire selectie / faculty selection Comenius Senior Fellowships 2026

[BETA Onderwijsbeleid]

Beste opleidingsdirecteuren en -coördinatoren,

Namens het FB wil ik jullie erop wijzen dat de Call for Proposals voor de Comenius Senior Fellowship 2026 van NRO is gepubliceerd en jullie vragen deze informatie te delen met potentiële geïnteresseerden.

Dit is een beurs ter hoogte van maximaal € 100.000,- gericht op onderwijsvernieuwing en verbetering in het hoger onderwijs. Met de Comenius Senior Fellow-beurzen kunnen innovatieprojecten met een looptijd van twee jaar gefinancierd worden. Zie voor meer informatie de call for proposals op de Comenius Senior-pagina<https://www.nro.nl/calls/comeniusprogramma-senior-fellows-ho-2026> van het NRO.

Geïnteresseerden worden gevraagd bijgevoegde formulier in te vullen en uiterlijk woensdag 2 juli 2025 in te dienen via onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl<mailto:onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl>. Aangezien per faculteit één kandidaat een voorstel mag indienen bij het NRO, zal de facultaire selectiecommissie uit alle inzendingen de kandidaat kiezen die namens BETA een voorstel indient.

Let op: één van de vereisten in de Calls for Proposals is dat kandidaten een aanstelling van minimaal 0,5 fte moeten hebben voor de duur van de aangevraagde beurs. Daarom wordt gevraagd om bij het indienen van het voorstel aan te geven of aan de eisen van de aanstelling wordt voldaan.

Dear programme directors and coordinators,

On behalf of the faculty board, I would like to attend you to the publication of the Call for Proposals for the NRO Comenius Senior Fellowship 2026 and ask you to distribute this information to any potential applicants.

This is a grant of up to € 100.000,- to give impetus to educational innovation and improvements by professionals in higher education. With the Comenius Senior Fellow-grants innovation projects with a duration of two years can be financed. Applicants are asked to fill in the attached form and submit this to onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl<mailto:onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl> by Wednesday 2 July 2025. As each faculty can submit one proposal to the NRO, the faculty selection committee will pick the candidate who will submit a proposal to NRO on behalf of the BETA faculty.

Note: one of the requirements in the Calls for Proposals is that applicants have a contract for a minimum of 0.5 fte for the duration of the grant. Bearing that in mind, we ask applicants to indicate whether they meet that criteria when they submit a proposal.
