Let me tell you that the Department of Balkan, Slavic and Oriental Studies of the Thessaloniki-based University of Macedonia is organising an event titled
"An Assessment of Sino-Greek Relations: Challenges and Prospects in a Changing Global Setting".

The event will take place on Thursday, 13 March, from 3 pm to 5 pm EET.

Alongside other speakers, I will have the pleasure of presenting China's role as a geopolitical actor in Europe's southeastern periphery, a vast area covering the Balkans, the Black Sea basin and the Eastern Mediterranean, and marked by conflicts and instability. It is in this broader framework that I will also reflect on the state of play and prospects of Sino-Greek relations.
