We are pleased to invite you to the next seminar in our “Law & Technology & Economics” lecture series.

We have the pleasure of hosting Jason Potts (Alfaisal University), who will present a talk entitled “Institutional Acceleration: Theory and Applications.” The discussion will explore how new digital technologies now enable innovation directly inside economic institutions, an evolutionary process Potts calls ‘i/acc’. The talk will review the theory and draw on case studies including Saudi economic transformation (Vision 2030), new high-speed low-IP innovation systems emerging in Chinese cities, and financial technologies for ecological regeneration that turn voluntary contributions into capital.

The format will include a 30-minute presentation followed by a discussion with the audience.
