[Topology.beta] Will Merry

Dear colleagues,

I just heard the very sad news that Will Merry passed away.

Will worked in symplectic geometry and has visited our department multiple times. He was the Postdoc supervisor of Jagna Wiśniewska, who did her PhD at the VU.

Will was quick of mind, gave beautiful talks and was a very warm and kind person.

He will be missed,
