[staff-physics-and-astronomy-HL-UHD-UD] PI budgets 2026

Dear all,

After reviewing and analysing our finances, we have drawn up a new forecast for the year 2026. This shows that we are financially in a strong position, and so we decided at last Tuesday’s MT meeting to increase this year’s PI budgets. The 2026 budgets per PI will be increased by 5k euros to a total of 30k euros. Please keep in mind that this does not guarantee an increased budget for 2027. This will be announced, as usual, at the end of this calendar year.
