Dear Colleagues,

For country-specific sanctions regulations relating to Iran, a guideline has been drawn up with the help of the National Knowledge Security Desk. With this guideline, we hope to create more clarity around what is and is not allowed when cooperating with Iranian organizations and individuals affiliated with Iranian organizations. The guideline is embedded in the fact sheet ‘Country-specific sanctions on technology’ on the Knowledge Security page and is also available in English. We would like to ask you to raise awareness of the guideline internally.

Voor landenspecifieke sanctieregelgeving met betrekking tot Iran is met behulp van het landelijk Loket Kennisveiligheid een richtlijn opgesteld. Met deze richtlijn hopen wij meer duidelijkheid te creëren rondom wat wel en niet toegestaan is bij samenwerking met Iraanse organisaties en personen verbonden aan Iraanse organisaties. De richtlijn is ingebed in de factsheet ‘Landenspecifieke sancties op technologie’ op de kennisveiligheid pagina<https://vu.nl/nl/medewerker/onderwijs-en-onderzoeksbeleid/kennisveiligheid-voor-vu-medewerkers> en ook in het Engels beschikbaar. Wij willen jullie vragen om de richtlijn intern onder de aandacht te brengen.
