Dear all,

After two successful editions of WomenNetPhysics held in Utrecht and Eindhoven, our next edition will be hosted on the 8th of May 2026 at Amsterdam Science Park.



What? WomenNetPhysics (WNP) is a networking event aimed at the theme of the position of women in physics where everyone is welcome to participate. We're excited to be hosting our next event at Amsterdam Science Park in collaboration with the Institute of Physics (UvA), AMOLF, ARCNL and Nikhef. We’re currently composing a programme with diverse speakers from academia and industry, as well as a poster session and plenty of networking opportunities.



Who? For people of all genders who are interested in the position of women in physics, from all career stages and from academia to industry. Students are especially encouraged to attend.



Why? WomenNetPhysics aims to foster an inclusive physics community in the Netherlands, by bringing together, connecting and inspiring physicists whether they are students, researchers in academia or working in industry with a special focus on the theme of the position of women in physics.
