Dear colleagues,
It’s time to gather your projects for the Research Practicum (RP) 2024/2025.
Together with Joshua and Clara, who are responsible for the NS projects, we’ve created a survey that combines both the call for RP projects and projects for period 6 (June). You can submit the same project for both periods if you wish. Use THIS LINK<https://uva.fra1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0dlEPOf8wkgaq2y> to submit your project. The deadline for submitting your project is November 8th.
This year, the timeline for the RP is as follows:

  *   Week 1 (Jan 6-10): Full-time week for groups A+B.
  *   Week 2 (Jan 13-17): Full-time week for groups C+D.
  *   Week 3 (Jan 20-24): Report writing and preparing oral presentations. Two-hour (mandatory) workgroup session on reporting (Group A+B: Jan 24, Group C+D: Jan 26). Students must upload a preliminary version of their report before the workgroup. By the end of the week, submit an intermediate report to the supervisor (Deadline: Jan 30).
  *   Week 4 (Jan 27-31): Oral presentations at the symposium (January 28). Continue report writing and receive feedback from the supervisor on the intermediate version. Finalize and submit the report, incorporating feedback (Deadline: Feb 4). The final report should be sent to the supervisor and uploaded to the RP Canvas site.

We need to accommodate around 120 students this year, so your participation is greatly appreciated! Please circulate to colleagues, PhD, postdocs in your department that could host a project.
