Ammodo Science Fellowship 2024

This new fellowship offers early career researchers the opportunity
to conduct high-quality research of their choice
and expand their international network.

The fellowship will be granted biennially across four domains:
Biomedical Sciences, Humanities, Natural Sciences and Social Sciences.

Each fellowship ranges from EUR 50,000 to EUR 200,000.

Ammodo has allocated a total of EUR 800,000 for this application round.



APPLICANTS

Ammodo is looking to reach ambitious researchers who:

- are within 0-5 years after their first PhD;
- present an innovative research proposal; and
- aspire to conduct research at a host institute abroad.

HOST INSTITUTE AND REFEREES

The fellowship enables fellows to carry out
their own research project at the best suited host institute.
Depending on previous international experience,
this may be a foreign or a Dutch university or research institute.

Applicants are required to submit a research proposal including
two letters of reference from referees with relevant expertise
and a letter of acceptance from the intended host institute.

Advisory committees will evaluate applications based on quality of
the research proposal, the applicant and the host institute.



TIMELINE

Applications must be submitted before Friday 6 September 2024, 23:59 CEST.

The fellowships will be granted in December 2024.
