The title: “Tertiary lymphoid structures in cancer”
Short abstract: Tertiary lymphoid structures (TLS) are ectopic lymphoid organs that develop in chronically inflamed peripheral organs and resemble lymph node follicles by structure and function. TLS support antigen specific T cell and B cell priming and expansion, and correlate with improved survival in most solid tumors. We study the mechanisms of tumor-associated TLS development and functional contribution to anti-tumour immunity in patient cohorts as well as experimental tumor models to unravel the therapeutic potential of TLS induction in cancer microenvironment.

Title: "Computational Pathology for Precision Oncology".
Short abstract: "In this talk, I will present and discuss the role of computational pathology and artificial intelligence in the analysis of digital pathology images. I will discuss how AI can be used to optimize the digital pathology workflow, to assist pathologists in cancer diagnosis, and to develop and discover computational biomarkers to predict response of cancer treatment such as immunotherapy."
