Attached you will find an announcement. On the 10th of June, there will be an electricity test. If all goes well, there will not be any inconvenience for any of us. If the test fails, then there will be a 40 seconds failure of the preferred network. The attached message is in Dutch. I translated it to English below.

Dear Reader,

We hereby inform you of the following:

- Electricity test on Saturday 10 June 2023, between 08.00 - 09.00.

The 10 June test protocol consists of a number of tests the so-called 'island tests' of the
preferential grid (emergency power). This is an internal test protocol from the CCE. If the test goes
well, there will not be any inconvenience for you. If complications arise during the test
this may result in a short-term failure (40 seconds) of the preferred network.
We make every effort to minimise the risk of disruption to the primary process.
Coordination in the buildings of the Vrije Universiteit, including building ACTA, O|2, Medical
Faculty and the Transitorium, is provided by Mr J. Snoek, Team Leader Disruption Handling and
Emergency Management of the Facility Campus Organisation VU, who can be reached on telephone number
85968 or e-mail jan.snoek at vu.nl<mailto:jan.snoek at vu.nl>. For the Amsterdam UMC location VUmc, excluding Medical
Faculty, coordination lies with Mr F. Edens, Electrical Engineering Installation Manager, Directorate
