Dear colleagues,

Up to now, our department was missing a central repository of documents 
related to topics such as teaching, finances, HR, safety, policy, and 
regulations.

Such documents are often sent via email, and there is a significant risk 
that they end up being drowned in our inbox.

As a first step to improve the way we as department we keep track of 
relevant documentation in a way which is easily accessible to our staff, 
the MT has started a live google doc which you can find here:

There you can find links to relevant documents such as the section 
research presentations at the Department Retreat of June 2022, teaching 
and management overviews, Career track and HR policies, and links to 
Beta-wide and VU-wide resources. In the coming weeks we will updating 
this page with additional documents and resources.

Please note that you need to use your VU account (rather than a gmail 
one) to log in and access this page, it is only accessible for viewers 
with a VU account.

Comments and suggestions are more than welcome, and can be added 
directly to the google doc.

This is a "live" document and will be kept updated in the coming weeks & 
months as we add further documents, links, and other relevant material 
(in particular, the teaching overview is WIP and only a placeholder for 
the time being). Please add the link to your bookmarks!

We hope that this online documentation becomes a useful resource for our 
department. Everyone can contribute by adding suggestions of links and 
documents that should be added there.
