Beste collega’s,

Bijgevoegd ontvangen jullie een overzicht van de Beta aanmeldingen van alle bachelor en masteropleidingen op peildatum 12 maart 2025.
Let op: aanmeldingen zijn geen inschrijvingen. Voor een duiding van deze cijfers is het van belang om in het achterhoofd te houden dat de aanmelders zich vroeg in het proces bevinden.

Opvallende cijfers Bèta

  *   Er zijn momenteel 5824 voorlopige aanmeldingen voor de hele faculteit, 15% minder dan vorig jaar.
  *   De verschillen per opleiding zijn in de tabellen te zien.
  *   Voor de bacheloropleidingen zien we momenteel een daling van het totaal voorlopige aanmeldingen van 23% t.o.v. vorig jaar. Voor de bachelor AI valt het op dat de daling groter is voor de NL en EER aanmelders dan voor de niet EER aanmelders. Voor de bachelor CS lijkt de daling gelijk onder de drie groepen (NL, EER, niet-EER).
  *   M.b.t. de masteropleidingen is er sprake van een daling van 8% t.o.v. vorig jaar.
  *   Een groot deel van de aanmelders staat op de status ‘Initieel’.
  *   Aanmeldingen voor de Joint Degrees waarvan de UvA penvoerder is worden pas zichtbaar als deze de status ‘Goedgekeurd’ krijgen.

Numeri Fixi opleidingen

  *   Rangnummers worden vanaf 15 april gecommuniceerd. Hierna hebben de aanmelders twee weken om hun plaats te accepteren.

Marktaandelen
Op basis van de huidige aanmeldingen wordt ook een overzicht van de marktaandelen beschikbaar gesteld. Hierin staan de gewogen aanmeldingen: Studenten met twee studielink aanmeldingen tellen voor de helft mee in het aantal aanmeldingen, studenten met drie aanmeldingen tellen voor 1/3 mee, etc.

  *   Deadlines en afwijsmomenten verschillen per instellingen en dit kan de marktaandelen in dit stadium vertekenen.
  *   De aanmeldcijfers voor de Joint Degrees zijn alleen zichtbaar voor de penvoerder instelling omdat alle aanmeldingen nu daar plaatsvinden.


De volgende update van de aanmeldcijfers zal op 3 april worden gedeeld.

Please find enclosed an overview of Beta applications from all Bachelor and Master programs as of reference date March 12, 2025.
Please note: applications are not yet enrolments. To interpret these figures, it is important to keep in mind that applicants are early in the process.

Beta Notable figures
o There are currently 5824 provisional applications for the entire faculty, 15% less than last year.
o Differences by program can be seen in the tables.
o For the bachelor's programs, we currently see a decrease in total provisional applications of 23% compared to last year. For the bachelor AI it is noticeable that the decrease is larger for the NL and EER applicants than for the non-EER applicants. For the bachelor CS, the decrease seems the same among the three groups (NL, EER, non-EER).
o Regarding the master programs, there is an 8% decrease compared to last year.
o A large proportion of applicants are on 'Initial' status.
o Applications for the Joint Degrees for which the UvA is the lead institution do not become visible until they receive the status 'Approved'.

Numeri Fixi programs
Rank numbers will be communicated starting April 15. After this, applicants will have two weeks to accept their places.

Market shares
Based on current applications, a summary of market shares is also made available. This includes weighted applications: Students with two studielink applications count for half in the number of applications, students with three applications count for 1/3, etc.

  *   Deadlines and rejection times may vary between institutions, and this may distort market shares at this stage.
  *   The application figures for the Joint Degrees are only visible to the leading institution because all applications now take place there.
  *   The next update of application figures will be distributed on April the 3d.
