Dear Members of the National fNIRS Consortium,
My name is Julia Bend, and I am a doctoral researcher at Åbo Akademi University in Finland, specializing in using eye-tracking technologies to study cognitive load, perceptual processes, and individual differences in learning and interaction. As I approach the completion of my PhD, I am seeking opportunities to expand my expertise into fNIRS research through collaboration or postdoctoral positions.
I am particularly interested in projects that explore cognitive load, focusing on individual differences and their practical applications. My experience includes managing experimental designs, data collection, and supervising students, as well as contributing to interdisciplinary research. Additionally, I teach in the Information Systems Department, focusing on the applications of eye-tracking technologies and usability testing. I am eager to contribute my skills and perspectives to ongoing or new projects within the NfC community.
Please find my CV attached for your reference. I would be delighted to discuss potential collaborations or opportunities and can provide further details about my research upon request.
Thank you for considering my message. I look forward to connecting with members of the network.
Warm regards,
Julia Bend
