Dear CHERN member,
We are pleased to announce the second talk of the Working Group 6 (Energy: transition, extraction and resources) series of online talks<https://china-in-europe.net/chern-wg-6-autumn-talk-energy-transition-extraction-and-resources-with-paolo-gerbaudo-complutense-university-of-madrid/>. Each talk focuses on a different aspect of competition and/or cooperation between China and Europe in the energy transition.
In this talk by Thea Riofrancos from Providence College (US), we unpack the challenges of “clean” technologies and renewable energy through the lens of lithium, a so-called “critical mineral” essential for its role in decarbonizing one of the most polluting sectors: transportation.
3 November 17.30 – 19:00 CET | 16:30 – 18:00 GMT | 11:30 – 13:00 EST, Online via Zoom<https://vu-live.zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_cpzoVBN->, including Q&A.
More information and registration: https://china-in-europe.net/chern-wg-6-autumn-talk-extraction-the-frontiers-of-green-capitalism-with-thea-riofrancos/
