[Chern.fsw] CHERN WG4 event: Book launch Narrating China and Europe in Uncertain Times

Dear CHERN-Members,

Narratives have received much attention lately as geopolitical tensions mount. WG4 of CHERN (“Public diplomacy and knowledge production”) is happy to invite you to a book launch event:

The online book launch and open discussion is scheduled for 15 December (Monday) 17:00 – 18:00.
The rundown is as follows:

  *   Short introduction of the volume (Ágota Révész): 5 minutes
  *   Roundtable discussion on various narratives from Europe (Daniela Caterina, Jelena Gledic, Magnus Feldmann and Steven Langendonk): 15 minutes
  *   Individual chapters on Chinese narratives (Bart Dessein, Jasper Roctus, Duncan Freeman): 3 minutes each
  *   Q&A: the remaining half an hour – so yes, there will be space for exchange!
