Dear ALTI Members,
we hope your semester is going well!
We would like to invite all our members to join us on November 20th at 15.00 for the event "Science at the frontier: regulation of digital environments through legal reasoning, based on AI".
The event will consist of a presentation by three visiting researchers from Mexico: Dr. Nora del Carmen Osuna Millan (Computer Science), Dr. Virginia Berenice Niebla Zatarain (Computer Science), and Dr. Jesus Manuel Niebla Zatarain (Law). This multidisciplinary team will present their research project, which has just been awarded funding by the Mexican Research Office CONACYT.
The event will take place on November 20th at 15.00 in IN-2A45 (Initium building), there will be coffee/tea and sweets too []
The researchers will stay at ALTI from the 17th until the 27th of November and they'd love to chat with colleagues who are interested in similar or adjacent topics! You can contact Silvia De Conca to register for the event or to arrange a chat with our guests!
Attached you can find the flyer of the event and a short bio of Nora, Virginia and Manuel. We would be grateful if you could circulate this invitation within your network.
We look forward to seeing you on November 20th, and stay tuned, as our ALTI newsletter will resume soon!
