[Allpartners.music360-beta] Classification of royalty payments

All,

After a lot of help from Ioan Kaes, Nick Yule, Frank Lucassen and Sander Teekens I think I have a classification of the different kinds of rights and their royalty payments. See attach. The diagram is a simplification because there are exceptions in different countries and the situation in the USA is different, with implications for cross-Atlantic payments. But there is no way all this complexity can be captured in one diagram and moreover I wanted to understand the situation in Europe. I will use this for a M360 blog later on, where I will argue for more transparency in payments, which is what M360 will provide for background music.

In the meantime: comments please! Is there something I missed? Differences per country? Even though all variations cannot be represented in the diagram, it is good to know about them.
