This e-mail serves as an announcement for a <b>learning seminar on factorization homology</b> that will start in October 2024, and will take place between Utrecht and the VU.</div>

The main objective of the seminar will be to get familiarized with factorization homology, which is a topic that has been gaining relevance in the last few years in homotopy theory, differential topology and mathematical physics. We will be sending an e-mail
at some later stage containing the topics and material we will cover, but it's important that it will be assumed that most participants are not very familiar with the theory of operads and infinity-categories, for instance. </div>

The seminar will take place every Friday afternoon (the exact time is still to be decided), and the first talk will be given by Inbar Klang on
<u>11 October</u> at the VU, which will be an introductory talk on the topic.</div>
