[Topology.beta] Factorisation homology seminar

Hello everyone,

This is an announcement for the factorisation homology seminar taking place between Utrecht Universiteit and Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam. The official website for the seminar, which contains a preliminary plan for the talks and will be updated with more information soon, is https://sites.google.com/view/miguelbarata/seminars

The first talk will consist on an introduction to the topic by Inbar Klang and it will happen on the 18th of October at 3 PM at the VU, in room Maryam (NU09-A46). From then on, the plan is:

Place: the talks will alternate between UU and VU, the exact room for each day will be announced.

Time: the talks will happen weekly on Friday, from 3 PM until 5 PM. Ideally, each talk should consist of two parts of 45 minutes each, with a break in the middle and the remaining time left for questions.

Prerequisites: some knowledge of category theory and differential topology will be assumed. Topics such as higher categories and operads will be covered in the first few talks.
