<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Regarding the registration of leave hours, I would like to remind you that you have to manage the switching on or off of your holiday registration yourself via the self-service portal. The direct link to portal is:

<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-US">For those who <u>do not</u> record hours</span></b><span lang="EN-US"> on behalf of projects, switching off the registration is sufficient<span style="color:black">.</span><o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">Via the self-service holiday registration, you can choose not to register holidays anymore. Your manager must always approve your choice. If you do not register holidays, you no longer request holidays via the self-service
Holiday request, change and view holiday card, but you take your annual holiday credit outside the system. Depending on the agreement made, you may or may not do this in consultation with your manager. You do, however, have a holiday card. On the 1<sup>st</sup>
of January of each year, this shows the holiday hours to which you are entitled on the basis of your working hours and employment. On the 31<sup>st</sup> of December of that calendar year, the balance is automatically reset to zero. On 1 January of the following
calendar year, you will again receive a holiday card and the cycle starts again.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><b><span lang="EN-US">For those who <u>do</u> record hours</span></b><span lang="EN-US"> on projects with strict accountability requirements, you are required to use a regular holiday registration. In this case you do not have the option
of switching off the registration of leave hours. You must register your leave hours via the service portal. If you are forced to record time on projects in the middle of an ongoing calendar year (after you have chosen not to register leave hours), contact
the HRM Service Desk to convert the holiday registration in the system to the regular variant.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
