which are established in Athens, Rome, Florence, Petersburg and Cairo. VU is currently chairing the board of the NWIB umbrella. The participating universities besides ourselves are UvA, Utrecht, Leiden, Groningen and Nijmegen.</span><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US" style="font-size:11.0pt;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif">The visiting professors program is open for applications from assistant, associate and full professors. Visiting positions are for 3 months at 1 of the institutes.
A total of 10 positions are offered in the period between September 2022 and August 2023. Stipends to a maximum of K€ 10 are available per position, no salary costs will be covered.</span><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>

location of the institute, e.g. renaissance arts and Florence. The focus of the institutes is mainly on Humanities and Social Sciences, but they are interested as well in other disciplines as long as there is a local connection.</span><span style="font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
