Beste collega’s,

Het afgelopen weekend is de situatie in het Midden-Oosten ernstig verslechterd. Naar aanleiding van de recente militaire acties van Israël en de Verenigde Staten in Iran is de veiligheidssituatie in Iran en heel het Midden-Oosten onvoorspelbaar en gevaarlijk. Door sluiting van het luchtruim zijn internationale vluchten niet mogelijk.

De VU heeft (Iraanse) studenten en medewerkers die door dit nieuws ernstig geraakt kunnen zijn. Om hen te helpen de juiste hulp te vinden, hebben we de beschikbare hulp op een rijtje gezet.

Studenten:

Alle gesprekken zijn vertrouwelijk. Mocht de studieadviseur niet direct kunnen helpen, dan kan deze vaak doorverwijzen naar een andere persoon of organisatie binnen of buiten VU Amsterdam voor verdere begeleiding of ondersteuning.

·        Om anoniem met iemand te praten, kunnen studenten contact opnemen met de zogenaamde 'Luisterlijn'. Over the past weekend, the situation in the Middle East has deteriorated significantly. Following the recent military actions by Israel and the United States in Iran, the security situation in Iran and across the wider Middle East has become unpredictable and dangerous. Due to the closure of airspace, international flights are currently not possible.
