Due to the current weather conditions, several security staff members and evening shift hosts are unable to reach the VU by public transport.
Therefore, it has been decided to close the VU research building earlier today at 17:00.
The building can still be exited using an authorized pass via the bicycle storage and the back entrance.
If you do not have an authorized pass, please contact VU Security at 020-5985854.
Security will also make rounds in the building to inform those present in person.

Subject: vroegtijdige sluiting gebouw ivm weersomstandigheden

Goedemiddag,
In verband met de huidige weersomstandigheden is het voor een aantal  beveiligingsmedewerkers/gastdames en heren van de avonddienst niet mogelijk om de VU te bereiken met het OV, om die reden is besloten het VU onderzoeksgebouw vandaag eerder te sluiten ( 17.00 uur) . Het gebouw kan verlaten worden met een geautoriseerde pas via fietsenstalling en achteringang. Mocht u onverhoopt geen geautoriseerde pas hebben dan kunt u altijd contact opnemen met de beveiliging VU. ( tel. 0205985854.)
De beveiliging zal ook een ronde maken door het gebouw om aanwezigen persoonlijk te informeren, waar dat niet lukt is bovenstaande informatie van belang. Vriendelijk verzoek dit bericht met collega’s te delen.
