[staff-physics-and-astronomy-HL-UHD-UD] investments planned for 2027

Dear all,

I would like to draw your attention to investments for the year 2027.

As a department, we are asked to specify the investments we are going to make in 2027 and submit an overview to business control. Investments in this case mean purchases over 25K euros (incl. VAT). If you already know what investments you want to make next year, please include them in the attached file and return it to me. Please do so by Friday 10 April at the latest. If you have no investments planned, please let us know also.

And as a reminder please note that if investments are not included in this overview, it will be much more difficult to get these approved by the investment committee next year. Of course, investments not known to us at this point can still be approved. It is though not a guarantee that the investment will be approved next year but being on the list will certainly help.

If you have investments coming up in 2027, please fill in columns A to F in the attached file. The columns are:

  *   A: use of the device, please indicate use with the help of the drop-down menu
  *   B: short description of the device
  *   C: total costs of the device incl. VAT, if you are not sure please use an estimate and add “estimate” to column F
  *   D: investment category, please choose the category with help of the drop-down menu
  *   E: please indicate which money stream it will be paid from (1, 2 or 3)
  *   F: you can use for additional comments

Some additional remarks:

  1.  On the tab “Invest. begroting 2026” you can find all the investments we listed last year. Please note if you did/will not make the investment in 2026 but later, please include these again for 2027 as they are not automatically moved to 2027.
  2.  This concerns investments made through the VU only. Investments made through Nikhef or ARCNL do not need to be included.
