Dear colleagues,

As MT of the Department, we always strive to provide the best possible 
support for all our colleagues in their professional and personal 
development, at the various stages of their academic career.

Complementing existing leadership training programs at the VU 
(education-, research-, and management-focused), we are thrilled to 
share with you that as department we can now offer support for our 
colleagues also in the form of personalised, one-on-one coaching.

This coaching will be offered by our former colleague Prof. Davide 
Iannuzzi, whom many of you know very well (and who was present at the 
staff lunch in May). Davide was founder of the Demonstrator Lab, 
Director of Valorisation at the Faculty of Science, and he is currently 
the Chief Impact Officer of the VU. In addition to an outstanding 
scientist and most successful entrepreneur, Davide is also an extremely 
talented coach. So we could not think of a better person to support our 
colleagues in their professional and personal growth.

I can speak from my own personal experience (and I was very sceptic to 
begin with!) that Davide's coaching style will resonate very deeply with 
many of you. So I wholeheartedly encourage colleagues to benefit from 
this opportunity.

Please let Jordi know who if you are interested in scheduling a first 
intake conversation with Davide. Afterwards, if there is a good match 
and agreement from both parties, an action plan (typically between 6 to 
8 coaching sessions of 30min or 1h) will be arranged. Needless to say, 
all interactions between coach and coachees will be strictly 
confidential. Since Davide's time is a scarce commodity, we may not be 
able to accommodate all the requests which we will receive at any given 
time.

It is also fine to react to this opportunity at a later stage.
