[staff-physics-and-astronomy-HL-UHD-UD] Funding collaborations between universities and companies in the high tech sector

Dear Colleagues,
 The topsector Holland High Tech (HTSM) is funding collaborations<https://hollandhightech.nl/hoe-we-helpen/calls> between universities and companies in the high tech sector.
 If you are interested in such a collaboration, there are 2 calls which could be relevant

  1.  The Holland Hightech MKB call:

This call is relatively interesting for companies, since unlike with most subsidies part of the money can go to the company.
Last year Jeroen Koelemeij was involved in a successful application by a SMI around "Long range quantum networks"
The selection is on a first come first serve basis and the call opens January 5, 2026,12:00.

  1.  There are also thematic calls, such as collaboration with industry on defence  MKB Defensie call 2025<https://hollandhightech.nl/hoe-we-helpen/calls/mkb-defensie-call-2025> (call opens January 5, 2026,12:00), and around quantum & semiconductors: https://hollandhightech.nl/hoe-we-helpen/calls/htsm-call-2025 (call closes May 19 and more details will follow), and there is the more general KIEM call: KIEM-High-Tech<https://hollandhightech.nl/hoe-we-helpen/calls/kiem-call-hightech>.

  1.  Apart from the topsector HTSM another topsector to keep an eye on is Health Holland (Health~Holland<https://www.health-holland.com/>) for collaborations with industry in the health sector.
