Dear all,

We are happy to share with you all that yesterday during our meeting with the Faculty Board, our budget for 2026 was approved. With this approval, we can now confirm the PI budgets for next year to be 20k per PI.

Also, for those PhDs with a contract ending in 2026 and who not yet received an extension following the delay caused by the move, we can confirm we have a budget for their extensions next year too.

With declining budgets this is not trivial (at all). Rather, it is a consequence of our excellent performance as a department. Your excellent performance! We can and should be very proud of this.
