Update 21-05-2025  : Program of the AMOLF visit to the VU - 27th May

Dear all,



As you know, next Tuesday (May 27th) a representation of AMOLF PIs will visit our department to get to know each other better and to discuss possible research synergies and collaborations.

With many thanks to Matz, Kjeld, Roberta, and Sven for putting together an exciting program, this is the plan for their visit:



13:00-13:30 pm                 Arrival and coffee (2nd floor in front of the Spectrum 5 meeting room)

13:30-14:30 pm                 Introductory talks from both AMOLF and VU PIs (Spectrum 5)

14:30-14:45 pm                 Short break: coffee and refreshments

14:45-15:30 pm                 Round table discussion: Fostering interactions across Amsterdam (Spectrum 5)

15:30-17:10 pm                 Lab tours
17:10 pm                             Borrel with drinks, refreshments and snacks (Ground floor- horeca corner)

Dear all,

We would like to invite you to join the forthcoming AMOLF visit at the VU Physics Department on the 27th of May (13.00-18.30h).
The program is not yet definite, but we will kick-off with some welcome coffee and introductory talks from both sides.
This would then be followed up by an informal round table discussion focusing on identifying overlap and devising approaches to enhance interaction and collaboration.
And then we would follow-up with lab tours and a later afternoon/evening borrel to continue the discussion.
