Dear All,
Below you find the Agenda for the upcoming master project market, taking place on May 16 from 15:00 to 17:00 in Spectrum 5 (VO Building).
We kindly invite you to join the entire event, including the opening at 15:00 and the closing session with drinks starting at 16:30. These moments are a great opportunity to meet students beyond those already scheduled to speak with you.
Agenda
15:00–15:15 Welcome and intro quiz (Spectrum 5)
15:15–15:35 Breakout session 1 (meet in Spectrum 5)
15:40–16:00 Breakout session 2 (meet in Spectrum 5)
16:05–16:25 Breakout session 3 (meet in Spectrum 5)
16:30–16:45 Closing: next steps, Q&A (Spectrum 5, VO Building)
16:45–17:00 Drinks: meet PIs, postdocs, and PhD candidates (outside Spectrum 5)
Attached you find the matchmaking overview, listing the time slots and the PIs scheduled to meet with the students. If you do not see your name, it means that none of the students who registered for the event have selected your project at this stage. While this may be disappointing, we hope your project will still attract interest as students continue to explore their options after the market.
For those listed, please confirm your presence at the event by replying to this email. If you are not available, please let us know who will represent the project on your behalf, and share their name and contact details so we can include them in the program.
At the start of each session, you will meet the students in Spectrum 5 and then bring them to your office, lab, or another preferred location. You are free to choose how you want to present your project: poster, slides, or informal conversation. Each session may include between one and four students, so please plan accordingly. The final printed program, including student names, will be distributed to all participants in Spectrum 5 on the day of the event.
Students will submit their final project preferences by Friday, May 23, a deadline we have coordinated together with UvA and AMOLF. We kindly ask that you wait until after that date before making any agreements with students, to ensure everyone has a fair chance to make their choice.
Thank you very much for your contribution. We look forward to seeing you on May 16!
Best wishes,
Andrea, Lyuba, Melike, and Max
