[staff-physics-and-astronomy-HL-UHD-UD] VU strike April 7th

Dear all,

As you may know, there is an ongoing national strike of universities and 
universities of applied sciences (hogescholen) to protest the policies 
of the current Dutch government, in particular concerning the cuts to 
the higher education budgets and the internationalisation laws that will 
seriously restrict the availability of English-taught programs.

Our University Board supports this strike and has provided the following 
guidelines for staff and students:

Note that staff who wish to join the strike do not need to take leave. 
Participation is covered under special leave, with no deduction from salary.
