Dear all,

We are excited to announce a joint "NeuroPhysics kickoff" event on Friday March 7th, 2025, from 2-5 pm to celebrate the successful relocation of the Neuroscience & Physics Departments to the wonderful VO building. The goal of this joint afternoon is to get to know each other. Scientifically, we would like to take first steps towards strengthening our collaborations.

Personally, we would like to ensure that we form strong links that allow us to make the best of the great opportunity of working together in the VO building.  As such, we organised a program that provides room for social and scientific exchange.

The afternoon will feature a poster session, flash-talks from the PIs alongside an invited talk from Lukas Kapitein (Utrecht University). Our plan is to feature the technical expertise and research applications of our groups, with the goal of fostering cross-disciplinary knowledge exchange, utilization and collaboration. Drinks and snacks will, of course, be provided.

Please use the link to the google form below to sign up for the event, and to register for a poster or flash-talk presentation. If you have some interesting ideas for the afternoon program and/or would like to get involved in the organization, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.

Especially junior researchers (PhDs or PDs) are encouraged to get in touch. For the PhD students, you will receive a proof of attendance certificate to allocate four hours for this meeting in your Hora Finita account. If you create a poster, you can allocate eight hours, equivalent to 0.3 EC.
