Deze sessie wordt georganiseerd in samenwerking met RVO en is toegankelijk voor alle onderzoekers die meer willen weten over de ERC Starting Grant. Wij vragen u vriendelijk deze informatie binnen uw afdeling te delen zodat geïnteresseerden zich kunnen aanmelden.

Definitief programma

In de bijlage vindt u het definitieve programma van het ERC Starting Grant Training Program 2026. Dit programma biedt uitgebreide ondersteuning bij het voorbereiden en indienen van een ERC-aanvraag.

Interne selectieprocedure

Onderzoekers die willen deelnemen aan het supportprogramma voor de 2026 ronde worden uitgenodigd om zich aan te melden via de interne selectieprocedure.

Hoe aanmelden?

Zie de bijlage voor het inschrijfformulier voor de voorselectie van kandidaten. Dit formulier bevat tevens een template voor de abstract, die voldoet aan de ERC-richtlijnen.

Kandidaten dienen uiterlijk dinsdag 18 maart 2025 de volgende documenten in te sturen naar valorisatie.beta at vu.nl<mailto:valorisatie.beta at vu.nl>:
✅ Ingevuld inschrijfformulier, inclusief template voor de abstract
✅ Letter of support van de afdelingshoofd
✅ Korte motivatie

Een selectiecommissie bestaande uit de decaan, de directeur Valorisatie en een beleidsmedewerker zal op basis van de aangeleverde documenten een interne selectie maken. De geselecteerde kandidaten worden vervolgens doorgestuurd naar onze collega's van de subsidiedesk.

This session is organized in cooperation with RVO and is open to all researchers who want to know more about the ERC Starting Grant. We kindly ask you to share this information within your department so that interested parties can apply.

Final program:

Please find attached the final program of the ERC Starting Grant Training Program 2026. This program provides comprehensive support for preparing and submitting an ERC application.

Internal selection procedure

Researchers wishing to participate in the support program for the 2026 round are invited to apply through the internal selection procedure.

How to apply?

See the annex for the application form for the pre-selection of candidates. This form also includes a template for the abstract, which complies with ERC guidelines.

Candidates should send the following documents to valorisatie.beta at vu.nl<mailto:valorisatie.beta at vu.nl> by Tuesday 18 March 2025:

✅ Completed application form, including template for the abstract

✅ Letter of support from the head of department

✅ Brief motivation

A selection committee consisting of the dean, the director of Valorization and a policy officer will make an internal selection based on the submitted documents. The selected candidates will then be forwarded to our colleagues at the grants desk.
