On Thursday, May 1st IXA-GO has arranged an information session on funding opportunities from the " Templeton Foundation" which could be interesting for our department. For details, please see e-mail below.

IXA-GO is pleased to invite researchers and research managers to an upcoming information session on funding opportunities from the *Templeton Foundation*, taking place on:
🗓 *Thursday, 1st May*
🕙 *10:00–11:00*
📍 *Agora 2, Main Building (HG-3C02)*
The Templeton Foundation supports research and public engagement projects across several key areas:
* *Life Sciences*: Projects exploring the basic concepts underlying
life, evolution and cognition.
* *Mathematical & Physical Sciences*: Research seeking to shed light on the fundamentals of quantum physics, astrophysics, probability, and time.
* *Individual Freedom & Free Markets*: Projects promoting research, education and outreach on individual freedom, free markets, and entrepreneurship.
* *Religion, Science, and Society*: Studies on the interactions between culture, religious traditions and spirituality, and their impact on human health and flourishing.
* *Character Virtue Development*: Research advancing the science and practice of virtues such as humility, gratitude, curiosity, diligence, and honesty.
* *Public Engagement*: Initiatives that create public awareness, especially of topics at the interface between science, religion, wonder and meaning.
This session will provide an overview of the Templeton Foundation’s mission and priorities, along with practical guidance on the *application process* and *budget preparation*. Whether you're exploring new funding options or already considering a Templeton application, this session will offer valuable insights.
