I would like to draw your attention to the email below for an ERC (Starting and) Consolidator Grant Training Day organized by RVO on September 9.

- Target audience: Particularly useful for researchers who want to apply for an ERC Consolidator Grant, but if places are available ERC Starting Grant candidates are also welcome to join.

- The session will last all day, including laureates' experiences and Q&A.

Subject: ERC CoG Training Program and ERC session by RVO

Dear colleagues,

This year, IXA-GO organizes for the 2nd time an ERC CoG training program. Please find enclosed the details of the program in pdf. Could you spread this around within your faculty? The expected deadline of the ERC CoG is January 14, 2025.

We will kick-off this training program with an ERC (Starting and) Consolidator Grant Training Day organized by RVO on September 9. Our focus is on the consolidator grant target group, but if we have places available, starting grant candidates are also welcome to join.

  *   Mariëlle Brouwer and Esther Verhoeven: RVO National Contact Points
  *   ERC laureate: speaker to be confirmed

Notes for the session on Sept 9:

  *   It is not expected for the participants to have a draft (like a B1) ready before the workshop, however, you will need to have a (concrete) idea to work on during the session. There is no need to send anything beforehand.
  *   Slides will be sent to you by email after the workshop.
  *   IMPORTANT: as this workshop has limited placement (maximum 16 participants), it is crucial that you are able to join us for this full-day interactive workshop. Please confirm with us at latest by Monday August 26 via: subsidiedesk at vu.nl<mailto:subsidiedesk at vu.nl> whether you will be able to join us for the whole day. If not, we kindly ask you to withdraw from this training course so that another interested candidate can take your place.
