[staff-physics-and-astronomy-HL-UHD-UD] Announcement electricity test - Saturday, March 16, 2024

Dear all,

Please be informed that on Saturday, March 16,  2024 between 08:00 and 9:00 AM an electricity test according to the internal test protocol from the CCE will be carried out. The test protocol consists of several so called “island tests” of the preferential grid (emergency power). If the test goes as planned, this will not cause any inconvenience. If complications arise during the test, this may result in a brief outage (40 seconds) of the preferential grid.

The coordination for the VU buildings is provided by Mr. J. Snoek, who can be reached at telephone number 85968 or e-mail jan.snoek at vu.nl<mailto:jan.snoek at vu.nl>. The coordination for the people in the imaging center is provided by Mr. F. Edens, who can be reached at telephone number 06-51582763 or e-mail f.edens at amsterdamumc.nl<mailto:f.edens at amsterdamumc.nl> .
