[Senior-staff-physics-and-astronomy] Urgent cry for help!

Dear colleagues,

Due to limited ventilation in our practical rooms it looked like we would not be able to offer all of our first year physics students a complete lab course starting next week. With the help of Johannes, Petra and Paul Goossens (thanks for your help!) we are able to get plasma units, which can provide us with sufficient clean air to offer lab courses meeting the RIVM requirements.

As this is the case we can accommodate an extra group of students in our lab course and cater to all first year students but now we lack a TA. We did not belief we could still make this happen. So we are now desperately looking for a Dutch speaking Ph.D. student who would be available for the next two months to teach on Mondays (13:30-17:15) and Fridays (09:00 - 12:45) at VU. A short training will be arranged next week.

If any of you would have a candidate willing to take up this taks please let me know. I am of course aware that this is at an extreme short notice, still we hope very much to find one person willing to do this.

Looking forward to reactions!

Kind regards, Gerrit
