With this email, the VU Grants Office would like to invite you to the upcoming ERC Starting and Consolidator Grant Training Course on Monday September 12.

·        Mariëlle Brouwer and Esther Verhoeven: RVO National Contact Points

·        Freek van Ede: ERC 2021 Starting Grant laureate (ERC panel SH4 – The Human Mind and its Complexity)

VU campus, main building, Agora 5 (third floor)

Please find attached the following documents for your information:

·        Slides from the general information session of RVO earlier this year (June 13)

·        ERC training course agenda (Program ERC training)

Note:

·        It is not expected for the participants to have a draft (like a B1) ready before the workshop, however, you will need to have a (concrete) idea to work on during the session. There is no need to send anything beforehand.

·        Slides will be sent to you by email after the training.

·        IMPORTANT: as this training has limited placement (maximum 16 people), it is crucial that you are able to join us for this full-day interactive training. Please confirm with us at latest by Monday 5 September via: subsidiedesk at vu.nl<mailto:subsidiedesk at vu.nl> whether you will be able to join us for the whole day. If not, we kindly ask you to withdraw from this training course so that another interested candidate can take your place.
