Dear All,

I have been asked to make an inventory of the VU research activities in the field of green hydrogen. This is part of a national initiative called “Green Empowerment of the Dutch Economy” (Groenvermogen van de Nederlandse Economie) aiming at the Nationaal Groeifonds call.

Does any of the following work packages ring a bell to you or do you know anyone at the VU for whom it would?
WP1: Making Carbon Neutral Hydrogen
WP2: Transport & Storage of Hydrogen
WP3: Direct Use of Hydrogen
WP4: H2 and Green Electrons for Carbon-based Chemistry
WP5: H2 and Green Electrons for N-based Chemistry
WP6: Green H2 and Electrons for Intermediates and Speciality Chemicals
WP7: Socio-economic aspects and implementation

If it does not, feel free to ignore this message and apologies for the spam. If it does, however, it would be great if you could let me know the following:
Which research topics and PI(s) are relevant? Please provide a rationale for this:
- Internal: researchers, institutes, facilities, fieldlabs, start-ups, etc.
- Relevant GroenvermogenNL tasks and activities
- (Inter)national context
- External: which companies and why are they interested?
What investments in hardware are needed:
- Equipment
- Infrastructure
Other relevant information:
- Required lab space, infrastructure and/or equipment that is not yet available
- Current projects and/or applications
- Relevant platforms, initiatives, (field) labs, etc.
- What else is relevant

Deadline is already passed, so it would be great if you could get back to me by the end of the day.

Thank you in advance for any feedback and best wishes,
Andrea
