[Opleidingsdirecteuren.beta] Reminder: Oproep nominaties VU-onderwijsprijzen / call for nominations VU Education Awards - Deadline 14 October

Beste opleidingsdirecteuren en -coördinatoren,

Gezien de omvang van onze faculteit mogen wij per categorie twee kandidaten aandragen. Hoewel we voor de scriptieprijzen diverse veelbelovende nominaties hebben ontvangen, hebben we voor de Studentalentprijs en de Innovatieprijs allebei nog een plek open. Naast het meedingen naar de VU-prijzen, ontvangt wie gekozen wordt als BETA-nominatie ook een facultaire onderwijsprijs.

We hopen natuurlijk eigenlijk het succes van vorig jaar te evenaren, toen onze faculteit meer dan de helft van de VU-prijzen in de wacht sleepte! Mochten jullie voor de Studentalentprijs of de Innovatieprijs dus alsnog een kandidaat willen aandragen, vraag ik jullie dit uiterlijk maandag 28 oktober te doen.

Dear programme directors and coordinators,

Due to the size of our faculty, we can enter two nominees per category. While we have received a number of promising nominations for the thesis awards, we still have one slot open for the StudenTalent and Innovation awards. In addition to the chance to win a VU award, whoever are chosen as BETA candidates will also receive a faculty education award.

Of course, we hope to match last year’s success, when we managed to obtain over half of the VU awards! So, if you still want to enter a candidate for the StudenTalent or Innovation award, please submit the application on Monday Oktober 28 at the latest.

Graag wil ik jullie herinneren aan de onderstaande oproep om kandidaten aan te dragen voor de VU-onderwijsprijzen.

Voor zover jullie dit nog niet hebben gedaan, kunnen jullie tot 12:00 CET op maandag 14 oktober nog kandidaten nomineren.

We zien jullie inzendingen graag tegemoet!

Beste opleidingsdirecteuren en -coördinatoren,
 
Vorig jaar heeft onze faculteit het geweldig gedaan bij de VU-onderwijsprijzen, met maar liefst 6 finalisten en 4 winnaars. Ook dit jaar zal de VU de onderwijsprijzen uitreiken om excellente studenten en medewerkers in het zonnetje te zetten. Net als vorig jaar kunnen jullie kandidaten nomineren voor de volgende drie prijzen:

  *   De Masterscriptieprijs
  *   De StudenTalentprijs

  *   De VU-innovatieprijs voor onderwijsteams.
 
Iedere opleiding mag per categorie 1 kandidaat/team aandragen. De verdere criteria per prijs staan in de bijlage. Ook de nominatieformulieren per prijs zijn bijgevoegd. De deadline voor het indienen van kandidaten in de faculteit is maandag 14 oktober 2024, 12:00 CET. Kandidaten kunnen worden voordragen via het beleidsteam onderwijs: onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl<mailto:onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl>. 

Ik wil jullie graag vragen dit ook onder jullie docenten te verspreiden zodat we ook dit jaar als faculteit weer een aantal prachtige kandidaten kunnen voordragen.

Last year our faculty achieved impressive results in the VU Education Awards, with a total of 6 finalists and 4 awards. This year, too, the VU will be awarding the education awards to put outstanding students and staff in the spotlight. This year, the you can nominate candidates for the following three awards:

  *   The Master Thesis Award
  *   The StudenTalent Award

  *   The VU innovation award for teaching teams
 
Each programme is invited to enter 1 nomination per category. The criteria for consideration are attached, as are the nomination forms per award. The deadline for submitting candidates in the faculty is Monday 14 October, 12:00 CET. Candidates can be nominated via the education policy team: onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl<mailto:onderwijsbeleid.beta at vu.nl>. 
 
We’d like to ask you to distribute this to your lecturers too, to make sure our faculty is as well-represented as it was last year!
