Advances in neuroscience are rapidly transforming patient care. What role do new technologies play in this? Find out on Thursday, June 18, during the fourth edition of New Scientist Live - Brain Disorders: An evening dedicated to the future of brain research.

In collaboration with the UMC Utrecht Brain Center, New Scientist presents an inspiring program in which multiple researchers highlight their work and its impact on patients. Among them, Tristan van Doormaal will demonstrate how holograms are used in brain surgery, while Manon Benders and Cora Nijboer discuss stem cell therapies for brain injury in premature infants. Other researchers will also share insights into their work and daily practice.

The evening features music by Afternooners and will be hosted by New Scientist editor-in-chief Jim Jansen. It promises to be an inspiring evening focused on the most complex organ in our body: the brain.
