Dear all,



With the holidays closing in, we are pleased to announce this year's 'Christmas lunch' on the 19th of December!

After last year's Christmas celebration, we are more than happy to continue the tradition with all of our research groups together!



The general idea of the Christmas lunch is simple; from 12.00 hr onwards the pop-up room is available for us to enjoy food and drinks until the building closes.



Beers & wines will be provided by us, however the truly special thing about the Christmas lunch is the food: which we will prepare ourselves!

Santa therefore kindly likes to ask everyone to bring some of your own specialties. Given our rather international work environment, who knows what will be on the menu :)



Mentioning 'the menu'; at this moment in time, the tall (white colored) storage cabinets in the main office on the 4th floor is still showing us last year's X-mas menu! Surely, we would like to update our cooking skills as soon as possible!

Some info: The menu can be divided in starters, dinner or desserts type of dishes. It would be nice to write down your name and your dish, as it's both handy and fun to have an idea of what's on the menu. If you don't know yet no problem; surprises are welcome as well...



Small sidenote: Since most of us usually prepare something, it's not really necessary to prepare a lot. On the other hand, however, don't be too concerned either about making plenty!

Keep in mind we have the whole day and will probably have some drinks as well ;) Indeed, Santa can tell from his experience he has hardly ever encountered a significant amount of left-overs...


Last but not least, let's keep the Christmas spirit so everyone is welcome!! So please don't forget to invite your students (or anyone else I forgot to include in this e-mail) as well.



Even though the 19th of December is quite late, we are looking forward to have a great time and to see many of you there!
