Dear Colleagues,

Prof Akane Kawamura is coming to Utrecht for the defence of my PhD student, and has agreed to also give a small seminar in Amsterdam the day before (on 24 September). Unfortunately I noticed too late that this clashes with the CBOND conference, and so all of the big rooms are booked. I have booked 12W24 for 16:00-17:00, which can apparently fit 20, so it can be cosy and at least not look like an empty room for once.

She does research primarily focused on cyclic peptides and histone modifications but also includes chemokine signalling and protein-protein interactions in general, more to be seen here<https://kawamuraresearchgroup.com/research>. Please circulate within your groups (and anybody I have forgotten that might be interested), and hope to see a few of you there!
