Hey Seino,

Can you share the e-mail below within your group. We are looking for researchers at all levels (including yourself) to participate in a hackathon, in which we want to tackle societal relevant questions – ultimately aiming at writing a big interdisciplinary research proposal including at least industry partners and the university of Twente. The matchmaking days and the hackathon (mid-week) to work on the proposal is funded as well as a little bit (a few thousand) of money for preliminary experiments.

Molecules for Society: a VU – UT molecular (life) science challenge.

The UT Molecules Centre and AIMMS have secured a grant to kickstart collaborations on molecular research for responsible and smart societies. We are now looking for young scientists (PhD students, postdocs, assistant professors) to join us for the matchmaking event, aiming to form four interdisciplinary teams that will work towards the development of consortia and grant proposals.

We invite all young scientists to mark their calendars and join the matchmaking event(s) on:

1st matchmaking event at the University of Twente

  *   Date: Friday 21 June 2024
  *   Time: 11.45 - 17.30
  *   Location: Technohal 3130, Hallenweg 10, 7522 NH Enschede

2nd matchmaking event at the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam

  *   Date: Friday 28 June 2024
  *   Time: 11.45 - 17.30
  *   Location: O2 building, De Boelelaan 1108, 1081 HZ Amsterdam
