thanks a lot to everyone who participate in our mini-workshop dedicated to Romania data processing yesterday! As discussed, I'll create the mailing list for people involved in data processing of car and drone measurements . It will help for better communication between involved people and reducing emails for people who aren't interested in this topic.

Hello everyone, 




Here is a final remainder about today’s workshop (starting at 3 pm), dedicated to data processing of car and drones measurements . To go further with statistic, quantifications, upscaling etc., we need input from each ground team involved in Romania ( LSCE, AGH, UU, CYI, INCAS, EMPA ). The aim is to keep the meeting as short as possible (2 h maximum) and focus on very technical aspects of data treatments . So, after the meeting we are sure we got a common approach for data processing! 


Thanks to Dominik’s work, we have a first comparison of observed CH 4 on measured sites with measurements made in 2019 (plots below). However, input from each team is crucial to be sure observed decrease is not biased due to missing notes or data!

The points to discuss:

    * Methane & ethane reporting: (harmonization based on target gas measurements, units, water vapor correction, calibration, other corrections…) 
    * Wind (2D/3D) & GPS data: (U/V/W definition, car-movement correction, validation, interpolation, North alignment for OTM...) 
    * Quantification-ready format: (Inlet and instrument delay, please review [ https://vu.data.surf.nl/f/266189260 | https://vu.data.surf.nl/f/266189260 ] before the meeting) 
    * Establish responsibilities and next steps (deadline for notes and raw data update, data treatment, quantification car/drone based)
