Dear Sebastian,
It is concerning and disappointing to hear again about the difficulties that INCAS is facing in preparation for the campaign. We expect a similar commitment to the campaign from INCAS as from other partners who invest weekends into traveling to Romania and working on the campaign outside of regular working hours. Furthermore, we agreed earlier to be informed well in advance about problems that arise and are much concerned about the planning and preparation of INCAS for the campaign, which - being the local point of contact - is critical to the success of the whole campaign. Therefore, I would like to urge you and your colleagues to do whatever you can to support the campaign team in the coming weeks. We have a great opportunity to study and raise attention for the environmental problem of methane in your country. Let's join forces in seizing this great opportunity and make the campaign a success.
best regards,
Sander

Dear all,
I would like to inform you that the INCAS drone team will not be able to participate in the campaign starting from 31 May 2026, as initially requested.
In Romania, 31 May and 1 June 2026 are public/non-working holidays, which affects the availability of the team during the first two days of the campaign. As mentioned in previous emails, there was a possibility that not all team members would be available from the very beginning of the campaign.
The INCAS drone team will therefore be present and available starting from 2 June 2026. From that date onward, we are working to ensure their continued involvement in the campaign activities, in line with the measurement requirements and the operational needs of the project.
I would also like to inform you that, unfortunately, we were not able to finalize the order for the N₂O cylinders. One of the suppliers indicated a delivery time of approximately 3–4 weeks, which is not feasible considering the campaign schedule. Another supplier, Messer, informed us that they would require a formal request for quotation and, subsequently, a direct order from the external partners. For this reason, they were not able to provide further details regarding cylinder availability or delivery time at this stage.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and will do our best to ensure that the drone-related activities are integrated as efficiently as possible into the overall campaign schedule.
Thank you for your understanding.
Kind regards,
Sebastian
