 e visiting researchers from Mexico: Dr. Nora del Carmen Osuna Millan\, Dr.
  Virginia Berenice Niebla Zatarain\, and Dr. Jesus Manuel Niebla Zatarain 
 (see bios below). This multidisciplinary team will present their research 
 project\, which has just been awarded funding by the Mexican Research Offi
 ce CONACYT.\n\nThe event will take place in IN-2A45 (Initium building)\, t

 il the 27th of November and they'd love to chat with colleagues who are in

 n\n\nDr. Nora del Carmen Osuna Millan - Universidad Autónoma de Baja Cali
 fornia\n\nShe holds a bachelor's in Computer Science by the Western Autono
 mous University along with a Masters in the Same area by the Tijuana Insti
 tute of Technology. Her PhD in Education by the North Pacific University. 
 Her main areas of research are society and digital technologies. She is a 
 member of the National Research Institute (SNI) level 1.\n\nDr. Jesus Manu
 el Niebla Zatarain\n\nHolds a Bachelor's degree in informatics and in law\
 , as well as a Master's Degree in Business. He has a Phd in Law from the U
  of Edinburgh. His main area of interest is the intersection between law a
 nd technology\, addressing this one as a platform to replicate and enforce
  the law. His main area of interest is artificial intelligence\, copyright
  law and data protection. He is a Professor and Researcher at the Faculty 
 of Law of Mazatlan of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa and a member of
  the National Research System (SNI) in Mexico.\n\nDr. Virginia Berenice Ni
 ebla Zatarain\n\nShe holds a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science\, as we
 ll as a Master's in Informatics and a PhD Technology applied to Education.
  Her main area of interest are digital scenarios and their impact on socia
 l and educational life. She addresses ethics in AI applied in dynamic envi
 ronments. She is currently the Head of the Post Graduate Office at Los Cab
 os Technolgy Institute and a member of the National Research System (SNI) 
 in Mexico.\n\n
